Welcome To A Dream Come True
Cherry Street Ceramics is the realization of a life-long dream and career plan of Owner/Artist Lisa Gomez. Lisa graduated from Austin Peay State University with a degree in Art and has taken time to raise her three children with husband and co-owner Sergio Gomez. They relocated to the historical town of Granville, Tennessee, two years ago, and Lisa was recognized as the Artist-in-Residence for Granville. The studio’s opening on April 14, 2018 is the culmination of a life’s work.
Our recent designs
Handcrafted, functional art is always the goal. These beautiful, pre-fired pieces go from clay and water to shining, glazed works of art that can become keepsakes and timeless, memorable decor. Pieces like this brighten up your home with their beauty but also all serve a functional purpose.

Location is everything
Cherry Street Ceramics is located in the historic town of Granville, Tennessee. Granville is an unincorporated community in Jackson County, Tennessee, United States. The small community is surrounded by the Cordell Hull Lake on three sides. A museum of local history, the Granville Museum, provides exhibits and interpretive displays on the community’s past. The museum also sponsors numerous festivals and other special events each year. The museum’s resources document the lives of numerous families active in the years before and during World War I. Resources include census records and the historical Sutton General Store’s ledgers.
